Plant based sweeteners are found in nature. Stevia Extract and Monk Fruit were the only natural sweeteners until recently. Both of these sweeteners are both so strong and have non-sugar-like taste. Most people cannot tolerate the after-taste of pure stevia or monk fruit. Therefore, they are usually accompanied by fillers and maskers.

Allulose is the new plant based sweetener. It is a rare sugar that exists in nature in small amounts. In fruits such as grapes, figs, corns Allulose exists. The process of extraction is favorable as it is just fermentation.

The main benfit of Allulose is that it tastes exactly like sugar since it's made from sugar. One thing negative about allulose is that it is way more expensive than any other sweeteners and it is rather hard to obtain in manufacturing quantities.

Delicious dark chocolates, and because allulose affects GLP-1 to reduce hunger, I only end up eating 2-3 typically, at most 5 chocolates, so just a few net carbs. And allulose carbs do not raise blood sugar or insulin levels, so it's unlikely to cause harm unlike sugar, fructose, artificial sweeteners nor digestive upset like sugar alcohols. This is important if the recipient may have health or weight issues. Gift box is beautiful and luxurious looking, showing this is a special gift and not drugstore/supermarket chocolates.

Like No Other!

I first started using Goalz when my doctor told me I needed to stop eating sweets. I was desperately looking for a substitute for candy. A friend of mine in Georgia told me about this company. I was a little skeptical, but went ahead and ordered four round containers. When I got the product, it was impeccable. It was wrapped so lusciously. I couldn’t believe it. There was a plastic outside cover around the tubes of chocolate. Inside the tubes was a Styrofoam round holder that would not let the candy slip and fall out when opening and was there to also hold the candy in place so it wouldn’t break. The packaging was done so elegantly. Needless to say because I started using Goalz for my chocolate replacement, I’ve lost 30 pounds. It’s a fantastic product and the taste is luxurious. I’ve turned a couple of my friends on to this great dark chocolate. Not only is their product good, the cost is reasonable and the customer service is by far the most outstanding customer service I have ever encountered in all my years of shopping. Recently, we had to put my mom into hospice care, and I shared this with the company owner; and one day unbeknownst to me, my doorbell rang and UPS had delivered a beautiful box with a silver bow on it of dark chocolate free of charge. It was condolences to me from them acknowledging how hard it is to put a parent in hospice care because they are a family owned company and understand what families mean. What company does that these days? I recommend this product for anyone that loves dark chocolate, that’s looking for a chocolate substitute, and that loves being spoiled.
